1. SPONSOR

The Only The Best Gear Monthly Giveaway (the “Giveaway” or “Promotion”) is sponsored by Only The Best Gear, LLC (“Sponsor”).

 

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and the District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.

Business entities (including corporations, partnerships, and LLCs other than Sponsor) are not eligible.

Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent) or persons living in the same household are not eligible.

The Giveaway is void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

 

3. GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The Giveaway begins on the first day of each calendar month at 12:00:00 AM Central Time (CT) and ends on the last day of the same month at 11:59:59 PM CT (the “Giveaway Period”).

 

4. HOW TO ENTER

A. Purchase Entry Method

Entrants will receive one (1) entry for every one dollar ($1.00 USD) spent on eligible purchases made through OnlyTheBestGear.com during the Giveaway Period.

 

• Entries are calculated based on the final purchase amount after discounts, excluding taxes and shipping, and will be rounded down to the nearest whole dollar.

• Returned, refunded, canceled, or fraudulent orders will result in removal of associated entries.

 

B. No Purchase Necessary – Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE)

To enter without making a purchase:

1. Handwrite Entry Request

   • On a blank, unlined plain piece of 3"x5" paper or index card

   • Using black or blue ink only

   • Clearly and legibly handwrite the exact wording provided in the official Entry Request Template (available here)

    

2. Accuracy Requirement

   • The wording must match the Entry Request Template exactly

   • Entries must match the Entry Request Template exactly, including spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and word order. Any deviation may result in disqualification in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

    

3. Submission

   • Take a clear, well-lit photo of the handwritten entry - Front & Back
     

     Submitted image must be clear, well-lit, and fully visible. Entries that are blurry, cropped, obstructed, or otherwise illegible may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

   • Email the photos to: cs@onlythebestgear.com

   • Email Subject line must be "Modlite 18350 Package giveaway - AMOE - Submission #".

   • Email Body must include the participants First & Last Name, and the number of the specific entry.

   • There may only be one (1) alternative method of entry submission per email.
     
   • Entries that do not follow the required formatting, may be disqualified in Sponsor's sole discrection.

    

4. Limit

   • There is no limit to the number of mail-in entries an entrant can submit.

   • Each mail-in entry will count as five (5) entries, provided that the mail-in entry complies with the above requirements.

    

5. Entry Value

   • Each valid AMOE submission = five (5) entries

    

C. Promotional Multipliers

From time to time, Sponsor may offer promotional periods (e.g., “double entries”).

• During such promotions, all entry methods—including AMOE—will receive the same multiplier

• AMOE submissions must be received by Sponsor during the promotional period to qualify for the multiplier.

 

 

5. ENTRY CONDITIONS & RESTRICTIONS

• Entries must be submitted by the individual entrant; third-party submissions are void

• Mechanically reproduced, copied, automated, AI-generated, or otherwise fraudulent entries are prohibited

• Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the validity of any entry and to disqualify any entrant or entry that does not comply with these Official Rules or is suspected of fraud, tampering, or abuse.

 

6. WINNER SELECTION

• One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries

• Drawing will occur within a reasonable time following the end of the Giveaway Period

 

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

 

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & CLAIM

The winner will be contacted via email.

• Winner must respond within forty-eight (48) hours

• Failure to respond will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner

 

 

Verification Requirements

Winner must provide:

• Valid government-issued photo ID

• Proof of address

• Information matching entry details

 

Failure to provide required documentation will result in disqualification.

 

8. PRIZE

• One (1) prize awarded per Giveaway Period

• Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $505 USD

 

Prize is:

• Non-transferable

• Not redeemable for cash

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

 

9. TAXES

Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

If required by law, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for prizes valued at $600 or more.

 

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to:

• Cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud or technical issues compromise integrity

• Disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process

• Determine eligibility and validity of entries in its sole discretion

 

 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims arising out of participation or prize use.

 

12. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
