Only The Best Gear – Returns & Exchanges Policy

At OTB, we want you to love your gear. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll work with you to make it right — quickly, fairly, and without unnecessary hassle.

 

Our Return Window

  • Within 30 days of purchase: Refund to your original payment method.

  • 31–60 days from purchase: Refund issued as an OTB Gift Card for future purchases.

The 60-day clock starts on the date of purchase, not the delivery date.

 

Restocking Fees

  • 20% restocking fee applies if items are returned with damaged packaging, missing parts, or show signs of use.

  • No restocking fee if items are in new/like new condition and in their original packaging.

 

Return Shipping

  • If we made an error or the item is defective, we’ll cover the return shipping.

  • For all other returns, we can provide a prepaid return label for $7.99 (deducted from your refund or store credit).

 

 

How to Start a Return

You’ve got two ways to kick off a return — whichever works best for you.

Option 1 – Self-Service in Your OTB Members Profile

(Fastest)

  1. Log in:

    • Click the profile icon in the store’s menu, or go to OTB Members Profile.

    • Enter your email address and click Continue.

    • Check your email for a six-digit verification code from our store, then enter it to log in.

     

  2. Request Your Return:

    • Find the order you want to return and click Request Return.

    • If your order has multiple items, select the ones you’re returning.

    • Choose a return reason and add any notes.

     

  3. Ship It Back:

    • If your request is approved and requires shipping, you’ll get an email with instructions and a prepaid return label (if applicable).

    • Once we receive and inspect your item, your refund or store credit will be processed.

     

Option 2 – Email Us Directly

If you’d rather skip the login process, just email [cs@onlythebestgear.com] with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you want to return

  • The reason for the return

We’ll confirm eligibility, send you a prepaid label (if applicable), and guide you through the rest.

 

Pack items securely — please use the original shipping box if possible, or one that's similar and avoid putting labels directly on product packaging.

 

 

Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Ammunition

  • Body armor

  • Powders, primers, and other hazardous materials

  • Cleaning solvents, oils, or other liquids

  • Any product altered, modified, or damaged after delivery

 

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days of receiving your return.

  • Gift Card refunds are issued electronically to your OTB account or Email.


 

Helpful Tips

 

  • Keep your tracking number — we’re not responsible for lost or delayed return shipments not sent with our label.

  • For warranty issues, we may refer you directly to the manufacturer to get the fastest resolution.


 

Bottom line: We aim to be fair. If you take good care of your gear and send it back promptly, we’ll take good care of you!
