An upgrade to AR15/M4 firearms with mid-length gas systems, the MOE SL Hand Guard provides a variety of accessory mounting options for greater operational flexibility in a narrower footprint. Its ergonomic shape improves handling and control, and the integral riveted aluminum heat shield combines with the reinforced, heat-resistant polymer design to protect against high temps during firing. Only compatible with firearms that include an A2 front sight assembly and a round front hand guard retaining cap. Made in the USA. MOE SL Hand Guard is a direct replacement for most factory plastic, two-piece, mid-length hand guards and requires a ROUND front hand guard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring (some mid-length firearms are equipped with a triangular retaining cap and are not compatible). Not compatible with piston operated AR platforms. *Must be used with the A2 front sight assembly as other gas blocks are not compatible. If so equipped, the factory sling swivel must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly. |
