Leupold Delta Point Pro (DPP) Footprint – Compatible Optics & Mounts

The Leupold Delta Point Pro or "DPP" footprint is one of the most popular for pistols. The DPP cut is used by many manufacturers for factory optics-ready cuts.

This footprint is less common than the RMR pattern and is primarily designed for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro red dot. It uses two mounting screws and four locating posts. While its layout is similar to the Shield RMS footprint, the posts are slightly larger (4.2 mm compared to 3.8 mm). As a result, a DeltaPoint Pro can physically mount to a Shield RMS base, but the fit will be loose due to the smaller posts, making it an unsuitable pairing.
